By the end of the page, if you have NOT yet put together the plot twist and what is about to happen, you need to work on your detective work! Go to one of the last pages of the seventh chapter and see where the piece of paper is mentioned.

That is my real handwriting on a real piece of paper that I crumpelled myself and unfolded it to get that raw look. I tried to write as elegant as possible, since it's really supposed to be Norm's handwriting, but I'm lefthanded and could never in my life stay within the lines.

Drawing and writing "on the fly" has its disadvantages. The fourth panel with Cory glancing to try to read the Book was actually the LAST drawing made for this page! I reviewed what I did and thought, "No no, the reader HAS to see Cory actually try to read the book again so they KNOW he can't- it isn't enough that Norm just mentions it." Same with that tear in the last page of the Book.
